Kloak ("we", "us") provides temporary phone numbers for receiving one-time verification codes. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We designed the app to collect as little personal data as possible.

Information we collect

• Anonymous device identifier. On first launch we generate a random ID stored in your device keychain to create your account. It is not your name, email, phone number, or Apple ID.
• Email (only if you sign in). If you choose Sign in with Apple or Google, we store the email associated with that account so your credits follow you across devices. Sign-in is optional.
• Purchase records. When you buy credits, Apple/Google process the payment. We receive a transaction identifier to grant your credits and prevent duplicate grants. We never receive your card details.
• Order activity. The temporary numbers you rent, the service you selected, and the verification messages received on those numbers, so we can show them to you.
• Basic technical data. IP address and app/OS version for security, fraud prevention, and debugging.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not read, access, or store messages from your personal phone number or device SMS.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use advertising trackers that identify you across other apps.

How verification numbers work

Temporary numbers are shared, disposable lines. A message sent to a rented number travels across the mobile networks that deliver it before it reaches you. Do not use rented numbers for anything you consider private or sensitive — others in the delivery chain can technically see message contents.

How we use your data

To operate your account and credit balance, fulfil number rentals and show received codes, process purchases, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and comply with law.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, remaining credit balance, and order history from our systems. You may also email us to request deletion.

Children

Kloak is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/CCPA) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Contact us using the details below.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
